Thailand Pass is a new web-based registration system for travelers planning a trip to Thailand. Both Thais and foreigners are required to register, save data and upload required documents as planned, then submit to the appropriate supervisory authority. Thailand Pass was created by the Digital Government Development Agency (DDA) to support the Ease of Traveling Facilitation Policy following the opening of the country. Used to replace the old COE document issuing system in order to streamline the process of filling out and uploading documents for travelers before entering Thailand. This includes completing information on Tor. 8 (health survey) and TM. 6 (entry-exit form).
 

On November 1, 2021, Thailand Pass will open for registration for electronic entry certificates (Thailand Pass QR code).
 
 
Thailand Pass Consular provide the following basic instructions.

"Travelers should register for a Thailand Pass QR code at least 7 days before their departure date. For those who have received a certificate of entry into Thailand (Certificate of Entry (COE) and will enter Thailand. The original COE will be valid for entry into Thailand beginning November 1, 2021. How Thailand Pass works

3 Travel Schemes

 
The traveler must specify which of the three entry schemes they intend to take into the country.
 
1) Exemption from Quarantine scheme (EQ) 
You can travel to any destination in Thailand if the RT-PCR test conducted on your day of arrival is negative.

2) Sandbox Programme (SB)
You can travel freely in the Sandbox area for the duration of 7 days if the RT-PCR test conducted on your day of arrival is negative (can stay in the province that your hotel is located only, travelling across different Sandbox areas is not permitted). Once you have completed your 7-day mandatory stay at SHA+ hotel within the Sandbox area, you can travel to any destination in Thailand.

3) Alternative Quarantine scheme (without vaccination - AQ)
You will need to undergo your
10-day mandatory quarantine at your AQ hotel / accommodation. Once you have completed your 10-day mandatory quarantine, you can travel to any destination in Thailand.

* Expats living and working in Thailand under a valid visa or residential permit are required to provide proof of insurance coverage in Thailand with a minimum coverage of 50,000 USD or valid social security card or certifying letter from employer.

  • EQ - SHA+/AQ for 1 day
  • SB - SHA+ for 7 days
  • AQ - AQ for 10 days
