I. Travellers FULLY VACCINATED
Thai Nationals
1. Book an air ticket from the UK or Ireland to Thailand *
[Currently, domestic transit flights are still not allowed except the designated “seal route” flight to Samui. Therefore, it is recommended to book an international route to enter your final destination in Thailand.]
2. Travellers are required to have negative RT-PCR test result tested within 72 hours before departure.
3. Official vaccine certificate or passport (or other official document to certify full vaccination), which certifies that the traveller had received all required doses of vaccine no less than 14 days before departure. Travellers could only travel from day 15 onwards.
Travellers who have recovered from being infected by COVID-19 are eligible if they have received 1 dose of vaccine within 3 months after being infected (no less than 14 days before departure) by providing a medical certificate or letter confirming their recovery from the infection.
4. One (1) night Alternative Quarantine or SHA+ hotel reservation confirmation and receipt to wait for the negative RT-PCR test results. (The hotel must provide pick up transportation from the airport since travellers are not allowed to travel to the hotel on their own.)
5. Register for the “Thailand Pass” at tp.consular.go.th for at least 7 business days prior to departure. The Department of Disease Control of Thailand will consider all the vaccine certificates or passports. Once approved, travellers will receive a “Thailand Pass QR Code” to enter Thailand.
(Remarks The “Thailand Pass” will be approved by the central authorities in Thailand NOT the Royal Thailand Embassy. Therefore, please allow sufficient time for approval after registering for the “Thailand Pass”.)
*** Thailand Pass will be open for registration on 1 November 2021 at the website
tp.consular.go.th. Those who arrive in Thailand on 1 November 2021 can still use the Certificate of Entry (COE) approved by the Royal Thai Embassy to enter Thailand.***
6. Thai nationals do not need to provide any health insurance.
7. Thai nationals, with a valid Thai passport or emergency travel document or emergency passport, do not need a visa to enter Thailand. Thai nationals travelling with a foreign passport will need to apply for a visa and prepare all required documents as foreigners travelling into Thailand.
Foreigners
Must have been in the UK or Ireland for at least 21 consecutive days before travelling to Thailand
(except those with a proof of permanent resident in Thailand)

7. Foreigners of a national eligible for the 30-days visa exemption scheme planning to stay over 30 days will have to apply for a visa to enter Thailand at thaievisa.go.th. Please apply for a visa at least 4 weeks in advance before departure.
II. Travellers who are NOT FULLY VACCINATED
