Certificate of Entry (COE) and Non-Immigrant Visa, Category O/B/ED [JUNE 25, 2020]
- Category O Non-Thai nationals who are the spouse and children of a Thai national
- Category B Non-Thai nationals who hold a valid Work Permit
- Category ED Non-Thai nationals who wish to enter Thailand on an educational purpose
“Certificate of Entry (COE) and Non-Immigrant Visa, Category O”
Starting from 1 July 2020, under the COVID-19 circumstance, non-Thai nationals who are the spouse and children of a Thai national and wish to enter Thailand must apply for Certificate of Entry (COE) and Non-Immigrant Visa, Category O, at the Royal Thai Embassy, Copenhagen.
Please note that the application will be processed on a case by case basis, taking into account of urgency and worthy purposes.
Required documents for applying for the COE and Visa:
- Passport;
- Application for Non-Immigrant Visa, Category O (please see http://thaiembassy.dk);
- Completed and signed Declaration Form, see attached;
- For spouse – Copies of passport of both the foreign spouse and a Thai national, together with Marriage certificate;
For children – Copies of passport of both the children and the Thai parent, together with Birth certificate of the children;
- Hotel reservation for 14 days at a government-designated Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ) at the applicant’s own expenses (please see http://www.hsscovid.com);
- Valid health insurance policy worth not less than 100,000 USD or in equivalence which includes COVID-19 medical treatments.
Before travelling, all travelers must have the following documents to present to the Thai authorities in Thailand:
- Certificate of Entry (COE);
- Completed and signed Declaration Form;
- COVID-19 Free Health Certificate issued no longer than 72 hours prior to travel date;
- Fit to fly Certificate issued no longer than 72 hours prior to travel date.

- A valid work permit or permission to work in Thailand from a relevant Thai Authority;
- Completed and signed Declaration Form, see attached;

- Letter of confirmation of student status or letter of acceptance from the Thai educational institute;
- Letter from the governmental authority supervising the school/educational institute, except international school and public/private university;
