The Department of Health Service Support recently issued an announcement regarding the guidelines for patients and their dependents wishing to receive medical treatment in Alternative Hospital Quarantine (AHQ), which will serve as a guide for all hospitals participating in the program to follow.
1. In the case of a person entering the Kingdom of Thailand for medical treatment under Article 1 (10), the document must be submitted to the Department of Health Service Support for approval and quarantine in accordance with the epidemic situation management center order Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19).

2. Persons entering Thailand under Article 1 (13) who are permitted to enter the Kingdom for economic benefits as well as public health security in accordance with the government plan to open the country will not be quarantined in an Alternative Hospital Quarantine (AHQ) facility.
